In my previous chapters, I was a professional princess, enchanting children and adults alike at parties and events, and later, the guiding force behind a successful entertainment company. Scroll down to learn more about my wonderful entertainment biz!
Now, I'm the visionary and magic maker at Launch..then party, using my experience and knowledge to help rocket you to success.
When I am not glued to my laptop finding ways to help you become an even better party biz, you can find me in the kitchen cooking a banging Mac and Cheese (my husband’s favourite) & dancing with my gorgeous little girl. Life is pretty sweet & I am enjoying the ride.
I built a highly sought-after and successful entertainment business from just £30.
but it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows
We began as a 2 man band, me & a newly hired Tia. Little did we both know we were going to build a business so magical that even after we retired, our friendship remained full of magic. It started many years ago, I had a dream and a vision to bring to life storybook characters for children to meet at their parties. There was nothing like this around and I saw the gap in the market. Armed with a homemade Snow Queen costume and a very bad Ebay wig, I went into the world of party entertainment. From the moment I launched till the day we hung up our ballgowns, we were always fully booked and our events became a trade name.
We opened a venue up and offered an experience like no other..
but then HMV brought us out
We owned a fabulous venue, complete with castle doors and Rapunzel’s tower which she really did let her hair down through the window. A venue is no joke while running an entertainment company alongside it. It’s not for the faint-hearted but it’s an amazing experience and it paved the way for how we grew from a kid’s party biz to a full entertainment company. You could watch shows from your favourite fairytale characters or hire the palace for a unique party experince.
From kids party biz to full-on entertainment.. we did it all
but it took us far to long to learn the stilts
As the company grew so did our team and our offerings. We now offered pool parties, stilt walkers, glitter bars, singers, mermaids, and ariel hoop acts. I created a business that was always in my vision from the day I opened. I am not going to lie, we had tears, we had sweat and we had blood. Some nights I didn’t sleep prepping for the weekend for entertainment BUT it was an amazing amazing amazing time in my life. But as the world shut down in 2020, we decided to hang up our ballgowns. Ready to retire in the physical entertainment world, I built The Social Duo, a branding and graphic design business for party businesses. Again, from the day I opened I had visions of how the business should grow, and alas! here is the next chapter of our story.
